21 from bolton, i enjoy participating in various sporting activates as i see my self to be health weary. the main reason for participating in recreational is for the valves, relaxing after a stressful day at uni, enjoyment and keeping fit. i consider myself to be a very social able person i love a good night out or just spending time in company of your friends. the aspects of design that i like is the continuous challenge to design something different that’s not already on the market.

the idea behind the product is to allow the user more interaction and enjoyment when cooking and hosting a dinner party. the product is a small tabletop heat pad that can be used as an additional heat source or used when entertaining guests at a dinner parties the scenario is when hosting a dinner party it allows the host more interaction with there guests as they can cook at the table around there guests. the induction pad works through the process of magnetic conduction, how the process works is the induction pad has one part of the magnetic reaction and the other is located on the bottom of the pan. once both components are placed together the heat process will begin but as soon as they are taken apart the heat process will stop. the induction pad consists of 3 elements one induction pad one cooking vessel and mains power connector.

the idea behind this product is to give a more user interactive feel to a standard kitchen tap it is also a more aesthetically pleasing and unique way to tap design. the unique aspect to the tap is when the user is facing head on with the tap it gives the impression that the head of the tap is in fact floating with the base of the tap hidden by a large head interface. the large head allows the tap to function with 2 different water settings one is a rinse like a shower and the other is a larger jet just like on a normal tap. the tap also has a touch screen menu interface which contains 4 setting the setting include a vegetable wash, chilled glass of water, warm bowl fill, soapy hand wash these are to give the user a better choice of options when interacting with the tap.
