i have developed a specific skill set in design which incorporates the ethics and design styles of the bauhaus design movement and the modern simplicity of jonathan ive. i have also taken a lot of inspiration from the ford 'kinetic design' movement and would also claim to be inspired by designers such as daniel eatock and dieter rams especially. i have also a keen interest in writing for design sites across the web and maintain my own design site, design juices. i love to spent time writing and researching all aspects of design; web, graphic, industrial and many more. i have a keen interest in writing for other design sites where i have built up a large design community of friends and acquaintances across the many online social network streams.

the main aim to to produce a final product for the extreme sports user who is out on the road when competing in events or simply training and studying the sport. I have concentrated my design activity on a producing a trailer tent design which is heavily rooted in the design ethics and styling of ford's 'kinetic design' movement. the final design incorporates the kinetic design manta and style, producing a rugged and stylish trailer tent design for every extreme sports user.

after a long and extensive researching activity into the world of camping outdoors, music festival and the needs of a music festival camper, i have decided to aim towards designing a product which has everything a camper needs at a music festival. i want to provide a solution in allowing the user to bring as little as possible to the festival. the approach will evaluate all their wants and needs in relation to their equipment, in both protection, security and storage. taking into consideration the visibility in the dark and on a vast festival site. providing adequate living and sleeping arrangements with branding and personalisation will also be a design consideration.

upon completing my studies i definitely want to expand my experience in design as much as possible, i am not someone who has a very narrow minded vision of my future. i want it to be as open and expansive as possible, i wish to explore a job career path both through graphic and product design building upon my skills and improving myself at each opportunity.
