about me
i’m a very compassionate person and I aim to use my skills in design to create products that solve problems in order to help people and make tasks more enjoyable and easier for them to face. i’ve had a huge passion for designing and making things ever since I was a small child. i enjoy the process of designing a product from the very beginning of finding the problem, through to finding the solution at the end.
honours project
overview
an automated external defibrillator to be used by the police service will enable them to analyse a patient and administer an appropriate shock if required which can save the patient’s life if the paramedics are unavailable or unable to be there in time.
design detail
overview
a mobility product to aid those with walking difficulties or limitations without it requiring a limited or temporary power source. It will discreetly support the user and aid their walking, enabling them to walk comfortably. It will be particularly focussed on helping the elderly.
career aspirations
i have two dreams and big aspirations for my life, they are fairly different but I have always wanted to find a way to combine the two into a career. i love design and want to use my knowledge in this area  to create products to help people but i’m also very passionate about helping others through being a paramedic, so my dream is to become a full time paramedic whilst running my own medical design business designing products for inside the ambulance. After my degree I would like to get some experience working in a medical design company.
