about me
my grandma used to keep a 'bits box' for when i went round, from this box i used to create all sorts of things. i think this is where my passion for designing and making things came from. i enjoy a spot of xbox, a bit of cycling and will always enjoy skateboarding.
honours project
overview
the aim is to develop a household cleaning device that is more suited to a small home or space. issues regarding storage and manoeuvrability of conventional vacuum cleaners make them less suited to being used and stored in small homes.
concept design
overview
initially the project was centred around the area of 'personal mobility', this has evolved through the 2 previous projects which have changed the direction slightly for this future concept. this project is still linked with mobility but in a broader sense. the idea is that energy and energy generation will become more important in the future and this project looks to design some sort of energy creation device, where the users movement/ mobility creates the energy to be used as and when it is needed.

thoughts on energy becoming so important in the future have spawned ideas about people using their energy as currency, this is also something to be investigated.
career aspirations
i would like to keep my options completely open in terms of who, or where i’m working, but my areas of interest would be in concept sketching and digital rendering. i think working for a design consultancy would be pretty cool, as i could be designing something one day and something else the next. but who knows, the worlds my lobster.
